Each bottling in The First Editions Authors' Series is dedicated to a famous author, with their likeness on the label and their history on the back of the bottle. The Blair Athol matured for 31 years in a Sherry Hogshead HL18442, which was filled in 1989. In March 2021, 236 bottles dedicated to the writer Arthur Schnitzler were filled.
